    Love it. Not sure I’d want to fire from the shoulder while standing though.

    It wouldn’t be too bad. “Premium” muzzle energy would be around 4300 ft/lb. That’s well below .416 Rigby, which runs 5200-5600 ft/lb.* So shoulder-fired is no problem. For the pistol, I’d be thinking shooter’s gloves and a muzzle brake. [grin]

    * Several years ago, I test-fired a progressively loaded series of Hunter’s .416 Rigby. The only rifle shooting that actually left my shoulder bruised. Through my padded shooter’s vest.

      Friend in Vegas some decades with a .450 Weatherby Magnum. He loved to load them hot. Admittedly, I was not wearing a padded vest.
