“Certainly, sir. What service do you require?”

“Acupuncture and a spine realignment.”

A chiropractor I used to visit for alignments related that on several occasions he had worked on cats that some of his patients had brought in (might have been a dog or two in the tale. I stopped going when I figured out how to do a self-alignment, more than ten years ago).

These animals usually had hind legs non-functional, and bowel control problems as part of the package. He said that he was able to get them to an improved level of functionality. In one case at least, the animal regained full function immediately, when it stood up and began walking around like normal. Typically, that sort of response takes a few sessions to get things back into their proper position. I’ve heard similar stories, from other sources, about alignments for pets and other animals. Skeletons and their support tissue tend to be somewhat similar across the animal kingdom. I’m not sure if they do that sort of thing in their training schools. Wouldn’t surprise me.
