No EOs, Lots of statements

None of the anticipated RKBA-violating EOs have dropped yet (scheduled for 11:40 AM), but thing are starting to move.

Politicians are promising legislation to stop Obama’s unlawful acts, without explaining why — since they’re unlawful — they need more laws. Gun groups are threatening lawsuits; too bad too damned many courts up to the SCROTUM (Chief Justice Vidkun Roberts) are friendly towards the administration’s unconstitutional moves.

It will be more effective to address this at the grassroots level.

Choose whichever suits your inclinations best.

Seems like those who bought into the NFA “trusts” and other such are going to reap what they have sown, not that it makes anything gov. does better or legitimate, of course. But if you ask permission to do something, reversal of that permission is always a possibility.

As for the rest of it, time will tell. I’m not involved with much of it myself, but I will not comply with any of it, or condone it. I have a really hard time understanding why so many people accept the idea that “background checks” are such a good deal – or that they have anything remotely to do with safety or preventing criminals from obtaining whatever weapon they choose. A serious national dissonance, to say the least.
