So in the poll, which really happened, 43 percent of people would vote for Clinton, 38 percent for Trump and 13 percent would break for the giant meteor.
For an independent candidate, not even a third party, 13% is great. That’s more than enough to screw the Dem/Rep numbers. It’s certainly better than the Republicans being fielded by the Libertarian Party.
