I will stand my ground in New Hampshire. My nephew Joe (you’ve met) and his oldest son and daughter will be down to help clear this Jersey dump in the next week. Why? Pure bribery. Joe’s two oldest daughters are serious SF readers and I happen to have a few thousand volumes which are now surplus to me. Joe Jr gets a half interest in Lisa’s Sportster. Why is Joe doing this? For some bizarre reason he likes and respects me — something i rarely do myself lately.

Recall his mob of kids? As I recall six with one in progress then. His 8rh and 9th were born a week apart last July. Joe and Tara are “divorced” so Tara and Joanna could do a “domestic partnership” to get Joanna on Tara’s USPS medical plan. Joanna is halfway through gestation of the next. Tara just poops them out at even two year intervals, Joanna seems in more of a hurry — youthful exuberance or Greek enthusiasm. Joe says he’s stopping at 12 (maybe 13). Like it was his decision.

      Congrats on making the move!

As for limiting the kids: vasectomy.

Yeah, I know. It’s how I stopped at zero. But a man with two wives is outnumbered. Even before the kids get home from school.

A man with one wife is outnumbered. It’s why my preferred pattern was polyandry.
