I’ve got your back on that one, brother. Yes, I’ve still got that copy of Unintended Consequences Lisa bought from you (I think it was at the LRT conclave at Nathan’s place across from Mesa Verde — lots of brain cells killed across the years). It’s in my nephew’s barn with most of my other stuff.

Not sure if I’ve mentioned it here, but I’m finally permanently in New Hampshire. Route 106 in Belmont directly across the road from Belmont Firearms, once the house sells down in Jersey I may do some serious shopping. Today my new grandnephew is a month old. Joanna’s second. Joey didn’t dump Tara, he added Joanna. Ten kids now. Rebecca the bump Tara had when you met her is a cute kid. Cute is a verb. A very active verb.
Yesterday was my grand-neice Elizabeth’s 13th birthday. The party is tomorrow. Aside from Joe, his wives and kids will be my mom, Joe’s mom (my baby sister, we have come to terms and become friends) and stepfather, two sets of “in-laws” (Joe can’t legally have two wives, Tara and Joanna are in a domestic partnership for medical insurance reasons, came in handy a year and a half back when Nicholas [Joanna’s first] and Leah [Tara’s eighth and last] were born eight days apart), and a crusty old granduncle. There will probably be cake.

Yeah, we had that conversation about burying bodies (crowded NJ ditches vs. NH granite) a while back.

That was the Mesa Verde conclave. Y’all bought a few items from me. I think you got that Kings of the High Frontier hardback, too. Speaking of which, I’m reminded that I’d make a dandy NASA director. [evil grin]

You’d be a better NASA director than any since the Kennedy administration. Faint praise, though.
