Over at David Codrea’s War On Guns, a commenter asked
[W]as there any ballistics done to see if some or any at all of his guns were used?
For the longest time, the police only acknowledged a single weapon being fired: the revolver with which the shooter was shot.
That, at long last, changed with the release of LVMPD’s final investigative report, dated August 3, 2018, which addresses what firearms were fired.
The report (which also contains many inconsistencies regarding timelines, police statements, and even placing the shooter in two different cities at the same time) is very poorly organized, making it tedious to locate and collate data. Adding to my own problems were websites purporting to link to the final report, but actually linking to the January 18, 2018 preliminary report, which did not say what weapons — except the suicide revolver — were used.
In one section of the final report, the firearms found in the suite were listed by make, model, serial number, chambering, and a brief description (to include if it were equipped with bump-fire stock). Then you have to scroll through page after page before finding a list of which weapons were fired, and how many times. To get the quantity fired, recovered bullets were presumbably matched ballistically to firearms.
The weapons-fired list does not include descriptions, and the list isn’t in quite the same order as the descriptive list, making it difficult to see if a bump-stocked weapon was fired.
I ended up making a separate copy of the descriptive list, then anotating it with the rounds fired from the second list. Those weapons highlighted in red were listed as both being equipped with bump-fire stocks and fired.

Interestingly, despite a scoped bolt-action rifle, spotting scope, and alleged ballistics calculations, the Ruger American .38 bolt-action was reportedly unfired.
Note that the only bump-fire stock-equipped rifles listed as fired were chambered in .223/5.56. Then listen to audio recordings of the shooting.

Matched the cartridge cases to the firearms? There is no mention of when they were fired or if any of the recovered projectiles (no mention of terminal forensics at all) were likely to have been fired from those firearms (FBI now says “cannot be ruled out” when matching recovered projectiles to firearms because it cannot be determined beyond reasonable doubt that a particular projectile came from a particular barrel – or from some untested – other – firearm).
